Course Description
 

Unlock your social media potential by developing shareable content based on your research. This interactive session will help you strengthen your online presence and use social media in effective, time-efficient ways. You will discover practical approaches to generate high-quality content, stay safe online and make use of each platform’s unique strengths.

The session will help you create a professional LinkedIn profile, explore how researchers are tapping into communities on Facebook, and show how short-form video such as TikTok can massively increase your reach.

Objectives

Following the half day session, you should be able to:

  • Raise your profile with social media

  • Know how to plan effective content to minimise the time requirement  

  • Understand the use of social media as a research and networking tool

  • Increase your following and interactions by creating sharable content

  • Create platform specific content for LinkedIn, BlueSky, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
