About The Event
Virtually Social is an online meet up for people interested in Public Engagement and Science Communication.
Each meeting will start with a short introduction or news round up from a PE profesional or Science Communicator. Followed by small group discussions and then open space. The empahasis is on keeping connected, informed and sociable.
In this session we will explore Museum engagement and discover what innovation and excellence in the sector looks like. We will hear from three museum professionals who have been forging new paths in the museum. Dan leads LQBTQ+ collection tours, Florence created the world’s first vagina museum and Stephen co-curates collections and has worked on the reparation of sacred objects.
